INVITATION TO JOIN THE COMMUNITY ADVOCACY ALLIANCE (CAA)

The CAA is a benevolent organisation which was established in 2015 with the aim of researching and addressing a wide variety of issues of concern to the community.

Our work spans various categories, including legal, law enforcement, mental health, youth crime, road safety, military veterans, illicit drugs, and corruption.

We represent broader community concerns primarily related to law and order matters, functioning as a service of last resort while remaining strictly non-partisan.

Our diverse membership includes people from many walks of life like retired executive police officers, business executives, legal professionals, psychologists, medical experts and academics.

The issues which we explore often affect the well-being of members of our culturally, religiously and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, and these issues may have adverse impact on successful settlement of people from these communities in Victoria.

We believe that it is important that members of the CALD communities have a voice on the CAA. That representation of members of the diverse communities may provide valuable advice and input into our work. We are confident that you would find the membership an exciting and valuable experience.

The CAA meets once a month at Ringwood RSL. Meetings are chaired by former

Police Chief Commissioner Kel Glare AO APM. Former Police Inspector Ivan Ray is the CEO.

Our membership is open to people of good character wishing to make a difference by providing support to individuals affected by government actions, bureaucracies and agencies.

You may rest assured that should you decide to join our ranks you will be warmly welcomed.

We invite you to explore our website caainc.org.au to learn more about our mission, services, and how can YOU contribute to the community through the CAA.
