A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $10,000 to the Iraqi Australian University Graduates Forum (IAUGF) to support and expand their services to the community.
IAUGF represents Iraqi Australian university graduates and supports the integration of newly arrived immigrants.
They are an important organisation that and provides social benefits to the Iraqi community by holding special events throughout the year. This includes honouring HSC and University student graduates and celebrating International Women’s Day events with a focus on women’s safety and diversity.
This contribution by a re-elected Labor Government will ensure that IAUGF can continue its outstanding work in the community.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
